Objectives
The main objects of the Trust are as follows:

  1. College with hostel facilities, Buddha College, Libraries & reading rooms free of cost, play grounds, hostels, orphanages, old men's refuge and widow refuge are to be established to prove the dream of Lord Buddha true and to maintain his fame and fact sanctity.
  2. To spread Buddha religion and with this purpose to send able and experienced men to foreign countries and to welcome the foreigners to our country.
  3. To create, establish and maintain a cadre of selfless and devoted worders for social, economical, educational, cultural and political uplift of the people. To revise and develop ancient culture and heritage of India to promote, establish, support, maintain or grant aid to for the promotion of science, literature, music, drama and fine arts, for the preservation of historical monuments and for the research and other institution in India, having similar objects for the benefit of the public in general. To arrange mental and physical recreation for the poor/weaker section of the society by holding sport and games, competitions, film shows and dramatic activities.
  4. To eradicate the social evils, illiteracy poverty and other factor that retard the general development of humanitarian taints, irrespective of races, sex, colour and creed.
  5. To promote diffusion of knowledge and spreading the all kind of education and maintain libraries, museums and holding intellectual gatherings with a view to exchange of knowledge pertaining to various intellectual happenings, openings of educational institutions etc.
  6. To promote scientific inventions and discoveries this would result in betterment of mankind.
  7. To open, help and assist Medical, Dental, Pharmacist, Nursing, Engineering, Management Colleges and Dispensaries, Clinics and Hospitals for imparting free or subsidized medical aid to lesser privileged class.
  8. To open University's or Deemed University's as allowed by the Central/State Government.
  9. To publish journals, newspapers whether daily/weekly/fortnightly, periodicals and books with in efforts to enlighten the mankind.
  10. To send and receive members abroad in order to spread our cultural achievements and adopt what is better in our counter parts.
  11. To grant scholarships, annuities and other grants to the needy and poor scholars, including supply of books, stipends, medals and other incentives to study, without any distinction as to cast, colour, race, creed or sex.
  12. To promote and propagate village/cottage industries with a view to create employment and eradicate poverty.
  13. To develop the democratic and patriotic traits in the society.
  14. To establish, maintain and aid institutions such as Dharamshalas, Gaushalas, Maternity Homes, Child Welfare Centers, Women Welfare Centers, Shelter House for poor, Orphanages, Institution for Blinds, Houses for Olds, House for Widows, Training Centers, Public Halls, Rescue Homes and other similar institutions. To establish, maintain and aid general spiritual educational institutions.
  15. To work for Medical Health Awareness, Environment Awareness & Population Control.
  16. To help and promote the continuous supply of electricity for general public to held & promote the sufficient supply of safe Drinking Water, to educate public for Sanitation.
  17. Sustainable exploitation salt affected wastelands into fertilized land.
  18. To take up work related information technology for better mankind.
  19. To take up any activity, considered suitable and in conformity with the law of the land and need of the day.
  20. To takeover, manage or combine, whether by affiliation or otherwise, with any other institution for the furtherance of all or any of its object.
  21. To put up regional centers and sub-centers of the society whenever it may deem fit in order to promote its objectives.
  22. To borrow, raise loans from any person, bank, and financial institutions in such manner as the Trustee shall think proper or convenient for the furtherance of objects of the Trust and for this purpose the Trustees may secure repayment of these loans in any manner; as may be decided from time to time.
  23. The Trustees shall be entitled and be at liberty to accept gifts, voluntary contributions from any person, firm or institutions or Government and to collect subscription, donation or aid from state Government, Central Government to augment the Trust fund and use such money for the objects of the Trust.
  24. To establish, run, support and grant aid or other financial assistance to schools, colleges, libraries, reading rooms, universities, laboratories, research and other institutions of the like nature in India, for use of the students and the staff and also for the development and advancement of education and discussion of knowledge amongst the public in general.
  25. To supply general orders in Government Department/Private Sector.
  26. To establish, maintain or grant aid for the establishment/maintenance of parks, gardens, gymnasiums, sports clubs, and rest houses, for use by public in general.
  27. To establish and develop institutions for the physically handicapped and disables or mentally retarded persons and to provide them education, food, clothing or other help.
  28. To grant relief and assistance to the needy victims natural calamities such as famine, earthquakes, flood, fire, pestilence etc and to give donations and other assistance to institutions, establishments or persons engaged in such relief work.
  29. To construct, repair and manage the marghats, cemeteries and burial grounds.
  30. To grant aid or render assistance to other public charitable Trusts or institutions.
  31. To establish, provide, maintain, conduct or otherwise subsidies research laboratories and experimental workshops for scientific and technical research laboratories and experiments and to undertake and carry in with all scientific and technical research, experiments and test of all kinds and to promote studies and research, both scientific and technical investigation and invention by providing, subsidizing endowing or assisting laboratories, workshops, libraries, lectures, meetings and conferences and by providing for the remuneration of scientific or technical professors or teachers and by providing for the award of scholarships, prizes and grants to students or otherwise and generally to encourage, promote and reward studies, researches, investigations, experiments, test and inventions of any kind.
  32. To own, establish, run, manage & maintain, hospitals, research centers, diagnostic centers, blood bank service centers, immunization centers, medical and other research centers, nursing homes, health centers, rehabilitation centers, clinics, polyclinics, laboratories and to apply or provide utility articles and services to patients, attendants and other to provide aids to medical personnel for research and development act and work as consultants in medical profession in Indiana and abroad.
  33. To establish and administer Schools, Colleges, Technical Institutions. Polytechnics/non formal and adult education centers/career counseling centers/management institutes or other institutions of learning.
  34. To establish and run in any part of India or elsewhere institutions for imparting technical education/long distance education through post and to provide training in workshops, factories, mills or other organizations in all disciplines of engineering and managerial skills and for that required establishment practical training centers for Imparting technical education and for that purpose.
  35. To work for the social and economic upliftment of educationally backward minorities and economic conditions of the poor.
  36. Improvement of public health in general and especially by opening and maintaining dispensaries, health resorts and sports stadium and by providing facilities for the physical development of children.
  37. Organization of rural reconstruction in particulars through local projects including Bhoodaan, Fostering of respect for manual labor.
  38. Respect for untouchables and other social disparities, uplift of Harijans, rehabilitation of displaced and other persons in distress and/other charitable work.
  39. Encouraging of the study of several languages mentioned in the Schedule of the Constitution of India and specially Rajya Bhasha Hindi.
  40. The raising of intellectual moral economic and social conditions of the people in general and of the weaker sections of the society in particular.
  41. To organize, open control and manage institutions and organization for furtherance of the aforesaid and other charitable objects and with a view to the fulfillment of the above objects, to take the following among other steps provided always that no activity shall be carries on by the for profit.
  42. To disseminate information of Governmental schemes for minorities, women and poor so as to promote awareness at grass root level.
  43. To work on the socio-economic and gender problems of disadvantaged, especially women and minorities.
  44. To work for realization of human rights guaranteed by universal declaration for human rights, International covenant of civil and political right and International Covenant of Socio-economic and cultural rights and other international conventions, especially rights of minorities, women, children, disable and elderly etc.
  45. To create awareness about public health, sanitation and civic sense and to undertake schemes for their implementation.
  46. To create awareness about drug abuse and to undertake schemes for de-addiction and rehabilitation.
  47. To work for achieving transparency and accountability in Government agencies to realize people's right to information.
  48. To undertake development projects and programs which improve the socio-economic condition of the poor.
  49. To guide and support people's organization i.e. organizations working for the poor and organization of the poor, through programmer planning, consultation, training and in any other way needed.
  50. To conduct participatory empirical research projects on problems affecting the poor and disadvantaged in society, especially minorities and women and to place the results of that research before groups, agencies, institutions, departments etc. working in that field.
  51. To work for conservation of environment and wild life and to promote awareness of related issues.
  52. To work social and economic justice, legal aid, legal awareness and entitlements of the deprived sections of the society.
  53. To organize seminars, workshops, conferences, exchanges visits, study tours etc. with the poor and with those who work with the poor on issue of common concern.
  54. To publish books, research reports, newsletters, papers, posters and other materials for the furtherance of the aims and objective of the Trust.
  55. To collaborate and maintain link with other organizations, group and networks, including those working for minorities, women and poor.
  56. To establish, maintain and preserve books and materials of historical importance in libraries and preserve books and material of historical importance in libraries and documentation resource centers.
  57. To do any other activity to generate the fund and the said fund should be utilized for the charitable purpose as set out in above parts.
  58. LORD BUDDHA ASHRAM VIDHYA & CHARITABLE TRUST (LBAVCT) apply for grant in aid from Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Elementary Educating & Literacy, Ministry of Environment & Forests, Department of Science & Technology, Department of Road Transport & Highways, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Human Resource Development, National Center for Jute Diversification (NCJD), National Commission for Women, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Ministry of Agriculture, National Book Trust, Ministry of Urban Development and Poverty elevation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology (CAPART), Central Social Welfare Board (CSWB), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India and other related State / Central Government Scheme.
  59. To apply to the International Funding Agencies, National Funding Agencies, Government, Public bodies, Urban, Local Municipal District, Corporation, Companies, Banks or other persons for and to accept grants of money, equipment, land, buildings, donations, gifts, subscriptions and other assistance with a view to promoting the object of the society and to confirm by any conditions on which such grants and other payments may be received.
  60. To give aid to the poor and the helpies; to give monetary and medical aid to the members and authorities related to the Trust and also to make specific arrangement of education, living standard, monetary aid to build house to establish shop and do business for the members, workers and authorities related to the Trust.
